August Market Commentary
Hello everyone,
I hope you're making the most of the last few weeks of summer. In this month's market commentary, we have market stats for July for Hamilton and Toronto. Overall, the number of sales and active listings in the Hamilton region is seeing a decrease over the last four months, which is typical for trends of the season. Sale prices are holding steady and are up 22% from July of last year but we are starting to see some price adjustment for top end properties. Perhaps an indication of buyer fatigue and summer distractions. In Toronto, sale prices continue to climb over those seen in July of 2020.
